Welcoming in Filipino (lesson1)

The word used to welcome in Filipino is:
    
🔻 Mabuhay🔻
           ⤷ literally means long live or prosper
It is usually used in welcoming tourist in the Philippines.
     

  *The word Mabuhay is usually used in greeting a large amount of person and commonly for tourism.
*You can't use this word for greeting someone that is close to you or you really often see them, just like your parents and friends.
*This is a common word for "Viva" and not usually used for daily activities.

You: Mabuhay,maligayang pagdating sa Pilipinas
         (Welcome in the Philippines)
  Foreign friend: Salamat ( Thank you).
