Keep Calm and Respect Others Showing respect is a great value and one of the most important thing that everybody must know and must do. Having respect starts with our selves, We are capable to respect others if first learn to respect our selves. One of Filipino values or traits is saying the words " po and opo" this words are used to express respect and politeness especially to elders. It sounds awkward when you are talking to elders without saying this words. The word po can be connected after a words,phrases,or sentences to say it in more polite way. The word opo is like saying yes , but in respectful way. By the way, the Filipino of yes is Oo this word usually used to someone that is close to you or younger than you just like your friends, your playmates, or your close sister and brother.
